A substantial variety
of birds has been seen at Wildcliff.
We have built a pond
with an island for the wildlife, and already it has attracted a
pair
of Blue Cranes, South Africa's endangered national bird. Perched on the
"W" above is a Cape Sugarbird, lover of proteas. Others include:
- Raptors
- Sunbirds
- Kingfishers
- Herons
- Geese
- and
of course the ubiquitous hadedas.
An
initial list of bird sightings is shown below. If
