Trustees of the Wild Cape Nature Trust

The trust, which owns Wildcliff, was founded by Ian & Jenny Giddy in 2007. It is guided by a Board of Trustees:

Jennifer (Jenny) Giddy
Co-founder, with her late husband Ian, of the Cloudbridge Nature Reserve in Costa Rica. Jenny is another nature-loving displaced South African now living in Rhinecliff, NY and Vancouver, BC - when not in Costa Rica or South Africa. The highlight of her working career was as an environmental librarian in Vancouver, at Environment Canada.
Genevieve Giddy
Peter Giddy
Marathon runner and business manager, family man and nature enthusiast, Peter, Ian's brother, was personally involved in the evolution of the Wildcliff Reserve.
Peter Giddy
Gael Gray
Botanist and landscaper, an expert on flora of the Cape, Gael Gray runs the Good Hope Fynbos Nursery, in Scarborough, Cape Peninsula.

Victoria (Tory) Ettlinger
Graphic designer, nature lover, and hiker extraordinaire, Tory is Jenny's sister-in-law and neighbor in upstate New York.

Management:
In February 2011, Wildcliff management was assumed by Jeannine McManus of the Landmark Foundation, an NGO dedicated to conservation and protection of South Africa's biodiversity. On site with Jeannine is Kate Muller, Educational Outreach officer. Kate will strive to bring environmental education to local students in the schools, and also to encourage overnight school trips to Wildcliff for first hand experience of the wilderness, its beauty and the lessons to be learned therefrom.
